Historical Sites Along the Deep River in the Piedmont of North Carolina

This website is a wiki regarding the history of various sites you would visit by traveling down the Deep River in the Piedmont of North Carolina. If you have additional information about the sites listed, or would like to add new pages to this wiki, please feel free to add on to this site yourself, or alternatively, you can email me with suggestions: Mark_Chilton@hotmail.com

The sites are listed in order in the sidebar at right, starting from High Point Lake in Guilford County and proceeding down river. The numbers to the left of each entry indicate the distance above the mouth of the Deep River at Mermaid Point, where it joins the Haw River to form the Cape Fear River.

Just wanted to express my appreciation for your efforts on the Deep River site.
