Henley Mill

Page history last edited by Mark Chilton 15 years, 10 months ago

Upstream: J H Tysor Mill

Up Bear Creek: Stone Mill on Bear Creek

Henley Mill - 2 on map

Downstream: Clegg’s Lock and Dam on the Deep River

Shown on the Ramsey map (1870). Curiously, this mill is not shown on any other map I have found.

BG/520 Stephen Henley to John R Foushee mill 1884

BG/579 Stephen Henley to J W Mcpherson and F M Hadley mill 1883

I have no idea where Hartsaw's Mill on Rocky River was, but it was authorized to be built as a public mill in May 1765 (Orange Ct Min).
