Lamb Mill 2

Lamb Mill 2

Downstream: High Point Lake Dam on the Deep River

This mill is shown by Miller on the East Fork of the Deep. Also the site of a famous gunsmith. Hughes shows this as the Talbot Fulling Mill, I think. Pegg says that the Lambs built this mill shortly before the Civil War, but that the gristmill aspect of it was soon abandoned in favor of manufacturing Jamestown Kentucky Rifles.
